Re: 770ED...NT4.0 vs Win95/98
I recently got a 770 with Win95 and immediately upgraded to NT 4.0 (doing
exactly what you seem to want). The process was quite painless overall. The
only part that took a while was figuring out what disk partition setup to use
(on a 4.0GB drive) for NT's data and system areas. Nothing specific to the
770. Here is a link to a valuable IBM web page that shows the appropriate
drivers for each subsystem: http://www3.pc.ibm.com/techinfo/483e.html. I'm
assuming your experience with a 770ED will be similarly easy because all
drivers I used for the 770 have 770ED counterparts.
