I know My first reaction to this is that the 701 is different enough to warrant a new group. Thinking about it a bit more though, I think the group should include all the thinkpads. Here's my reasoning. I see nothing in the new machines that would drive me to upgrade from my 750, particularly considering my bank balance. However, some of the biggest contributors to the group seem to buy at least one of the latest thing IBM puts out every time there is a new offering. As a person who consumes more information from this group than I contribute, it is well worth sorting through a little bit more irrelevant information to keep these people interested in the group.
