Re: Hello list
I work for a high-tech marketing company in Boulder, CO and I tend a herd
of ThinkPads -- 755Cs,CEs,CDs,CXs and the occasional CDV. I also watch
over a 701C, a few 700s and 720s and the odd 750. Every now and then I
take a phone call from the odd IBM executive about different ThinkPads and
How odd, Will?! :-)
what they can do. I have set them up on different networks running
different operating systems and other configurations, including
setting them for sound, colorspace and networking-- sometimes a dozen
at a time on very short notice.
And I have spent an ETERNITY waiting on hold for ThinkPad support.
Much of what I have learned about ThinkPads has been from sleepless
nights and from the help of the guys at World Wide Solutions, Inc.
Thanks, bro! I'll pay ya later! :-)
Here's an interesting question: Those of you that are sheparding herds of
machines like Will, how are you handling the rapid roll-over of technology?
