Super glue is very brittle. It's great for holding together parts
that don't flex (ceramics, metals), but terrible for plastic.
Drop by the hardware store and get some epoxy. It's messier to use
because it comes in two parts you need to mix, but the result is a
new piece of plastic which has some flex to it. There are a lot of
different types out there, some stronger than others. You'll need
some wood sticks and cardboard or a disposable plastic cup as well.
