        It came pre-loaded with Win 95.  Maybe that's the problem?  ;-)

        I'm wondering if the FN-key combo brings it up in Win 3.1 but not
Win 95.  Very strange--I was surprised that it didn't work.

        Wouldn't be so bad if it would just minimize into that little "tray"
on the right-hand side (the built-in Win 95 "power" icon does, but it
doesn't customize the functions the way the ThinkPad one does), but no--the
stupid thing minimizes like a normal application into the taskbar, robbing
space from other "real" apps that have been minimized.
