701 BIOS features

No, it wasn't. Just some very basic (and kinda ugly) LED's in the
corner that don't tell/show a whole lot. Just the typical lights for AC
Power, Battery charging/dying, Suspend, Caps Lock, Scroll Lock, and Num Lock
(and oh yeah--Hard Drive light). Nothing especially informative beyond the
very basics.
