What would a typical battery life be like on the 701C?
In my experiments, I got about 40 minutes running Linux with
no power saving features enabled and using the modem the
entire time. This sounds semi-reasonable.
Where I find it strange is I was running Win95 the other
day, and the battery meter was going very very slowly. Drive
was spun down, and the battery meter seemed like it was going
to go forever.
But then with the meter still reading 60% and over one
hour left, it started beeping and the win95 warning requestor
popped up, and then it suspended.
Would these be the symptoms of a dying battery?
