Hi, I'm considering purchasing a used 755CD from an individual. I do
understand that these machines have a three year warranty period. But,
when I called IBM technical support (800) 772-2227 they informed me that
the three year warranty starts from the date of purchase OR from the date
that the machine was introduced/announced. The support person did not
know whether these machines were introduced in April of 1994 or 1995.
He also informed me that they could not determine the date of manufactor
from the serial number (doesn't make sense to me). Does anyone know
when the 755CD Pentium 75 was introduced? Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Eric Chang,
