I have a TP755C (L0G). I've tended to keep the BIOS upgraded when I notice
a new version.

Desiring a large drive, I bought a 2.1Gb drive from Sigma last summer. It
is supposed to be an IBM Travelstar drive, and had the price to prove it <g>.

I just plugged it in, and it worked. I did have a problem with hibernation
not working, but I got side-tracked, and have never pursued the problem.

Doubt this will be of much help.
