Under OS/2, you can start your midi/mwave stuff in the startup.cmd and
it
really helps on resources (this was the side-effect in the 755 series).
Under
NT 4.0/95, there should be a way, but you really need at least 24MB of
RAM
for most thinkpads that support the mwave/midi stuff.
