> Has anyone been sucessful at getting MIDI sound to work while connected at > 28.8BPS using the mwave modem on a TP 760ED? My 755CE works using the latest MWave software but it can get pretty scary at times. I usually have a window of Netscape or whatever on the top 4/5 of the screen and some minimized stuff along the bottom (clock, fuel, modem, TCP/IP kernel, etc) and sometimes all these little icons change color, pictures become blank, etc - that is it looks like the Thinkpad or MWave can just barely keep up with it all. Visually it'd make a great effect in a science fiction movie - but it does work... This doesn't happen every time but it does often enough. I also have 24MB of memory which I'm sure helps - I looked at how much was used after one of these little episodes and there was only about 1MB free. Billy Y..
