Solaris 2.5 on TP 760ED

Goodday,
    Did anyone successfully install the Solaris 2.5 on the
ThinkPad 760ED? According to the hardware compatability list from Sun,
the video display on the 760ED is supported. I can install the OS itself,
but I have no luck to configure the Openwin. I am using the latest driver
update DU7. Any comments on this DU?

    I have another problem on configure the 3Com 3c589c
under Solaris. It seems that a wrong ethernet address was detected by the
Solaris. The ethernet address of my 3c589c is 00:60:97:49:6c:c6, but under
"ifconfig -a" and "arp -a", the address is 00:00:97:97:6c:6c.
Any idea on this issue? Thanks!
