This is not possible.  As far as I know, there are no software or
hardware products that allow you to use one type (IDE/EIDE, ESDI, SCSI)
of harddrive with a controller designed for a different type, with
the single exception of ESDI->SCSI.  Sun Microsystems (and 3rd party
vendors) used to manufacture an adapter, which could be attached
to an ESDI hard drive, which could then be attached to a SCSI controller.
Technically, you could take your TP700C's ESDI disk and connect it to,
say, a high end SGI workstation!

My knowledge doesn't extend to RLL/MFM drives.  Anyone recall if
these can be used with IDE controllers?  It is doubtful...
