I had something like this happen to my 701 last summer (is your 360 TFT or DSN?), only on mine it I had horizontal lines on a strip along the right-hand edge. Eventuially it turned into a black band. IBM said it was a bad display and replaced it under warrantee, but I think what actually happened was that some of the video memory went bad. - David
