This is the drive that came in my TP760E (Thin Model) and presumably is
still covered under the remainder of my three year warranty. Works great
in my Thinkpad TP760E, but I upgraded to a 1.4GB drive.
For an extra $15 I'll throw in an adapter that allows the drive to fit
better in older Thinkpads. Without this adapter, the drive will still work
fine. You may have to upgrade to the latest BIOS to get this working in
your older Thinkpads.
See http://www1.ibmlink.ibm.com/HTML/SPEC/g2216022.html for more info on
the drive assembly including caddy.
See http://www.storage.ibm.com./storage/techsup/hddtech/dsoa/dsoatek.htm
for more info on the drive inside the caddy.
