I've just spent the last couple of hours trying to get a Pansonic (SCSI) 4X CD player to work with a TP 560 P100, Win 95. This player installed easily with my old TP365 P100 Win95 and I'm not sure what the problem is now. The SCSI card is recognized and the CD player is recognized as a D:\ drive. The drive is not damaged because it plays audio cds when disconnected from the TP. When it is connected to the TP however it spins nonstop and the computer locks up when I tried to open My Computer or Explorer and the computer tries to read the drive's directory. I can only stop the drive by opening it and have to hard reboot the computer. Auto notification of cds is disabled. The DIP switches are still set to the factory settings which worked with the 365. I rem'd out the drivers the software put in AE and CS but that made no difference. I'm out of ideas. Anyone else have any? TIA, Karen
