Patrick,

Isn't it frustrating?? Coincidentally I've been going through the same
problem just this weekend only with a 365 and 560. I wrote earlier about a
pansonic drive that wouldn't work on the 560. I brought home the 365 to
compare the machines and tested my home network.

The 2 computer are configured identically (I swear!) and the 365 connects
to the network effortlessly but I thrashed and thrashed with the 560. The
best I could do was get the network to see the 560 but the 560 never saw
the network. I used the same Xircom card with both machines.

This problem and the problem with the pansonic drive makes me suspect that
it is indeed a Thinkpad problem. Somehow the OS or the BIOS or something is
keeping the 560 from doing what the 365 does so easily.

Looking forward to any advice you get that may help me,

Karen
