Re: New list member problem
I bought my think pad "open box", within th efirst week my modem died...
Having just bought & not being able to turn it, I was very upset, but after
consulting with EasyServe & seeing no other alternative, I sent in on a
Wednesday & amazingly enough, got it back the following Monday... I was
very pleased. They state that Their turnaround is about a week.
If you 'have' to send it I don't think you will wait too long & being that
it's under warranty & purchased used - it may a good idea, this way they
can give a complete "check out"...And you can sleep a little better at
night when it comes back, check the IBM webSite for the software.
