Just about any *SLIMLINE* (12.5 mm thickness or less), IDE-type 2.5"
notebook drive will do. I put a Toshiba (don't recall model number) in my
TP 560 about 2 or 3 months ago. 2.1 GB size--works splendidly.

Piece of cake. Just go to the web site to get some diagrams, etc. so you
have a good idea of what you're doing.

Yes. Anytime you open up the machine without being an authorized IBM rep,
you'll void the warranty. However, the warranty is only 1 year, so unless
you just got this thing, you're likely close to the end of the warranty
anyway.
