We have been struggling with one of these at a client's site. On a 760XL, 
with no built-in cdrom, but added support for a BackPack and a pcmcia 
cdrom, we had the modem side working consistently well but no joy 
whatsoever with the ethernet half. We have temporarily abandoned the 
Xircom for two single-function cards (Optima and 3Com) but may return to 
the chase later. What OS/Version are you using ?
