Learn to use the delete key for messages on subjects of no interest to you.
Learn how to use a message filter to have it occur automatically.
Other than a full time moderator, mailing lists will either have a lot of
noise of be of so little interest that they are effectively dead. Want to
tell me how many very low volume mailing lists you bother to stay
subscribed to when changing accounts?
