Re: IBM PCMCIA HDD



Mike,

Thanks for your thoughts on the IBM PC Card HDD. I'm just about ready to
call the Thinkpad people as the Options people have been no "support"
despite what they call themselves. Win95 seems to detect its presence but
either doesn't load the correct drivers or doesn't load them completely.
Various other people tell me that these IBM/Maxtor drives have a CIS
structure and should self-detect under Win95, but it seems that "detect" is
not the same as access. I think I running under OSR1, but how do you tell?
