New Overnight Easyserv o
RR>>Well, perhaps IBM will learn about europe one day . My 720C has been
RR>in >and out of repair 3 times in the year and 3 months since I got
RR>it, with >min 1 week, and once 3 weeks wait, as they don't stock
RR>parts here and >don't really care. I've junked it, too unreliable for
RR>real use - it
RR>I completely agree. My 720C was f..cked up three times. The first
RR>time IBM kept the machine for a month, and when I got it back you
RR>could hear all kind of parts loose in the machine. I do not dare to
RR>shake it anymore, afraid it falls apart.
I guess I should count my blessings: I may have had problems with my
ThinkPads, but IBM in Britain have been *very* good at quickly resolving
_all_ problems we've had. I've often had IBM engineers here within four
hours, and they can usually get any required parts overnight from the
Greenock plant.
