Hi,
I just got my laptop so please bear with me if this a FAQ. Here is
the problem: switching from Windows to OS2 in the OS2 desktop mode causes
the machine to stop and a whole bunch of numbers and other scary looking
data appears on the screen. This ends with the statement: Call your
representative. I guess the resolution is to get a newer BIOS or at
least the IBM website says something to this effect in one of the
TP tips adding that it's a common trap problem for this machine.
Any idea if I am on the right track here? Here is the relevant pointer
http://www.pc.ibm.com/support/tps/tips/12658.html
I am pretty verdant as far as OS2 is concerned and come across
this information just hours ago. Perhaps there is some other bug I am
not aware of that causes this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Waldemar
