Computer cases (was: Reliability of TP 560?)

Speaking of which, has anyone found a place that sells just the
padding for a computer so you can stick it in any old backpack
or book bag? I think a lightweight metal or plastic case lined
with about 1/4" - 1/2" of padding on the inside would be ideal
for those who don't want to buy a case that screams "notebook
computer inside - steal me!"
The neoprene cases (Wetsuit?) come close but are next to
impossible to find and IMHO don't have enough padding. An
alternative would be to buy the foam cubes used for photo gear.
But neither of these provides a hard shell to protect against
books and other sharp and nasty implements that reside in my
book bag. :)
